4. Heat pumps produce more even heat. Another advantage to a heat pump system is that it provides more even heat throughout your home. You don't have to hot and cold spots that are common with a traditional furnace.

5. Heat pumps operate more quietly. With a heat pump, you don't have the noisy period when the fan is blowing. The air compressor for a heat pump (the noisy part) is usually located outside of the building.
